Sorry to learn of your problems, but now maybe I can whup you.(?) Okay, probably not.
I was blessed to be able to find a hole in the fence at age 60, drew on my 401K for two years, then hit the SS. I did the math, and I've made more from them by taking it early than if I had waited. My (advanced) age had everything to do with it. Getting out in 2000 verses now was a distinct advantage monetarily, at least for me.
Wish I could be up there with you when you start working on the two handed method, might be a way I could help.
