I'm scratch building a Miss BJ if the pic comes through you'll see the lead outs are on the bottum of the wing tip. Does it matter ??

Hi Lee,

I cannot see them clearly, but the position of the lead outs on exit from the tip is affected by the vertical CG.  So I would do as the plans say since the Miss BJ looks like it is a mid wing plane.  It does make a difference!

A few months back, I was judging Expert here in Socal and Steve Harris showed up with his Miss BJ. Man, let me tell you,he was obviously out of practice;he couldn't get his motor started for his second flight and he still placed third in Expert !! Both myself and the other expert judge was seriously impressed with this plane.

I grew up with Big Jim and trust me on this, Jim is a genious.

Hi Milton,

Wrong Miss BJ.............  this one is a 40 size profile that either Allen Brickhaus or Bob Jones published.........  I "FINALLY" got a set of BJ plans from our buddy Jose.

Gets "cornfusin'" sometimes!  ;D

From Allen Brickhaus:

I do agree that this is Bobby's model.   I have flown in some contests with Bob in the Atlanta area and he was a well groomed pilot, that is, his contest face was always on but was fun in the pits also.  This is a well designed model, to be a stunt plane first and then resemble a Mustang.  Vertical CG is just as important as fore and aft CG.  If vertical CG is astray, trim problems will occur that cannot be fixed with Flap tweaks.

Hopefully this shows up better although it doesn't show the lead outs.
