Thanks for the photos. What is the story behind the third photo in the first group? The plane, Smoothie I think, with holes in the covering?

I can answer the question on the Smoothie,

It is a model given to Watt Moore for one of his smoothie projects, it was from the Virginia Beach area , just used the KOI to transport it to him from the Norfolk Aeromodelers club . Nice model. I gave Watt a Veco 35 to put it back in flying order

The 2011 KOI was the best Florida CLPA events that I've attended. The gang from the X-47 club, have the kinks all worked out on how it should be done, and not one glitch occurred. All score sheets were added up twice, and mistakes were not known. Only Accolades for the X-47 club. The flylng sight is one of the best in Florida.
