Kit Survey
« on: April 21, 2010, 06:08:45 PM »
*UPDATE*

Unfortunetly the Novi (#1) did not make the cut,
therefore... I will not be pursuing this as a kit at this time.

Maybe at a later date if enough interest was to increase.

==============
Hi guys and Gals,

Last night I had the pleasure of speaking with Dave Gierke and he has granted me permission to kit his Novi series starting with his first Novi.
35-40 eng.  55.00" W.S. 620.00 Sq.in.

We will be starting from the beginning here with a survey to see how many will be interested
in getting a kit, then we will have to put the plans into Autocad so we can laser cut the parts.

To be clear...  this kit will be for the later part of this year.

Okay that said, to get this kit going I will need some names on the waiting list, so if you are interested
in having a Novi, I encourage you to get on the waiting list early.

I'll wait for Number 4 - by far the best looking IMO

Is anyone interested in the first Novi?

Shall we try for another or none at all??

Thank you and God Bless

I agree, Walter. The Novi III is by far the most popular (and best looking IMO).

Myself, I'd really be interested in the Novi IV.  ;)

The I and IV are, I believe, the best flying of any. But I suppose it depends on what you're looking for. I built a Novi I a couple of years ago and it's a great flying plane.

Randy,
Your probably right as I have no experience with any of These models. That said asthetics play a huge art in why a particular model is liked over others. So with 4 of them plus the All American Eagle there is a lot of opinion on a favorite.
That said I personally like #3 so I guess I gotta vote for that one.
