KCRC Fun Fy

Those that have been in this hobby/sport as long as I have will see the title and think,  "Kansas City Radio Control Fun Fly".  It was at the field they use for raio flying.  They have set aside an area for control line and helicoptor flying.  Has a paved area for some take off depending on the wind.  But, the club shut down the field Saturday just so us contol line guys could fly.  Emmy wasn't there so I didn't add gals.  There were ladies there but not flying.  I loaded up four planes and Sandy.  We got there about 08:30.  Took time to unload and meet a few people you don't get to see aften enough.  Some of the pictures are the people that belong to the KCRC club.  Checked milage and it is slightly closer than the Knorthern Knights field.  I got flights on the Cardinette, Brodak Sea Hurricane and the little Sneeker.  Even the young Uladahl got a flight on it.  Weather was a lot better than last year wind wise.  It was warm.  The Polish Sausage and soft drinks sure were a hit with me and Sandy.  Anything to help the host club.  But, talking to a couple of guys, it was fun to fly when you wanted and just visit.  Hope you like the pictures.  The guy holding Sandy is Dennis Brooks who was in diapers when his Dad got me to flying.  Also see how hard Jim Lee is working also.

Thanks for the pics Doc; That is a really nice field. Wish I could have been there but we did not make it there or Wichita as Lova and I both had the stomach flu. I remember flying there back in my R/C pattern days, and knew most of the guys in the club that flew pattern. It is one of the nicer fields around. Been there a few times when they had the scale masters there also.
