I saw this post and watched (listened to...?) the You Tube link for the Stuka Stunt Blues. What memories! I had a cassette copy of that song that was given to me by the writer/performer, Tony Lang a long time ago. I have long since lost that tape...
After hearing the song again on YT, I called Tony and told him about the link. He's now living in Williamsport, PA, and is still a piano tuner. He expressed his delight that the song was once again being heard.

Nice to know Tony is still alive and kicking!! I first met Tony at the SIG contest a time or two and at VSC at least once in the early years in Tucson. I think he had posted a link to a recording of it on Stuka stunt forums, and that is how I hear about the song. The next time I saw him at The SIG contest I asked about getting a copy of it from him, and he dug around under the seat of his car and found what might have bee the last copy that he had made up! The story behind the song was, after he wrote it, he planned to record it and have a professional blues artist sing it for him as a favor. Some kind of attitude issue with the artist got in the way so Tony said he would just perform it himself!! After the thread by Scott Richlen got started about the Teosawki song, that got me motivated to find my copy of Stuka Stunt Blues. Sean came home for Christmas and I finally found my cassette, so Sean worked some magic this morning and got it digitized in a crude sort of way but it gets the point across! We got to go flying today, and we played it as we were cleaning up to go home, after Sean had given my grand daughter Clara her first flying lesson with a Toughbaby today!!
It's been a busy day today, time for a nap!!
Type at you later and
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

PS: Hey Bubba! Give our best to Tony next time you happen to talk with him. Tony is a really nice guy and was always fun to be around! Stuka Stunt Blues will live forever if we have anything to say about it!!
