So sorry to hear that John is having health issues. I do have a very happy memory of meeting John at the Brodak's contest this year, as he was "Livin' the life of Riley," meaning enjoying an easy late afternoon visit to the various club day stations around the contest / practice circles at his well-organized event. The influence of John and company on control line flying is significant and appreciated.
Best wishes for John on his journey in the health care arena,
Peter
p.s. As a former AMA contest director (no pressing needs at NVCL), the Brodak Fly-In is notably well organized. To me, the commercial sliding glass door drink coolers on pallets are symbolic of the thought and planning that goes into the event. In addition, the tractor-trailer load of available golf carts adds a certain style appropriate for the cohort.
