Sorry to hear this. Hope he improves.

So sorry to hear that John is having health issues. I do have a very happy memory of meeting John at the Brodak's contest this year, as he was "Livin' the life of Riley," meaning enjoying an easy late afternoon visit to the various club day stations around the contest / practice circles at his well-organized event. The influence of John and company on control line flying is significant and appreciated.
Best wishes for John on his journey in the health care arena,
Peter
p.s. As a former AMA contest director (no pressing needs at NVCL), the Brodak Fly-In is notably well organized. To me, the commercial sliding glass door drink coolers on pallets are symbolic of the thought and planning that goes into the event. In addition, the tractor-trailer load of available golf carts adds a certain style appropriate for the cohort.

Will keep him in our prayers. Ed.

While this is sad and John should be in our prayers. Please do not call Buzz asking for info. I was asked to take down the other thread because she was being inundated with calls. She already knows how we all feel.

Considering that I have attended all but the very first Fly-In, I have to say a huge "Thanks" to John Brodak for the tremendous "gift" he has given me (us!) every year the week before Father's Day. I hate to see this curtain slowly lower, but as in all earthly things....

It's Buzz's wish that nothing be posted here regarding John's condition. n1 n1
When appropriate and available, any information regarding his health will be posted on the Brodak website.
As Robert stated, PLEASE do not call Buzz.

As a Kiwi from Down Under, I am very impressed with John's honest interest in personally replying to me in response to a control line issue. It's very clear he is here to help others . His many friends I am sure love him for many reasons, least of which came through to me - his humility. I hope for a speedy improvement. Kia Kaha!
