I'll be there!

This is a great contest! The Eastern Shore MAC really goes all out for this. The field is flat, short-cut grass; the guys run a grill with dogs, burgers, water, soda, etc. Permanent shade shelters on the flightline so you can be out of the sun while watching the flying.

And do not forget to stay for the Saturday after-contest party!

My wife, Debbie, took all those action shots. Plus she knows how to launch planes! What more could you ask for? (Don't answer that!)

I always feel sorry for the people who can't make these contests. They are an awful lot of fun if you aren't fixated on trophy-gathering. You just fly your best and then let the judges worry about it.
