Here is a video made by a local (gasp) RC club.  BTW the Pig Roast is NOT to be missed. If you can reach So. CA on labor day, Yall come! (No I am not a member of that club) 4 others are quite enough. But I really love the Pit BBQ Pig! They let it cook in a covered pit for at least 18 hours. Yummmm 

They are also delighted when I show up and do a CL stunt demo.  No radio? No way! How he do dat? 



There are very valid uses to be made with the pesky quad-copters, and this is VERY well done.

I agree that there are dorks out there abusing the technology, and they need to be stopped.  But the technology is USEFUL! Just keep it legal.

It is great when you have some one with enough common sense to know how to use a quad copter.   Good little video.  Runway seems close to the road and a road across the end of the runway!

They shut down the runway, and I use it for takeoff and (hopefully) landing while flying over the dirt the rest of the time.  This is a one-off Demo Flight, not a regular place to fly CL. But they like me! And I love the Pig Roast! If you can get there, bring a big appetite!

I am surprised how close they fly RC next to the power lines and WOW it's bone dry out there. Neat way to show the video from the Quad, it would be interesting to get video of our CL contests with one of the those quads from above ground instead of ground level.
