Brodak lists JTEC.  They are 1/3 down to 1/9 scale.  The smaller ones are getting into the ballpark for full-size stunt models.

Cheers, Geoff

I started collecting gauge pictures off the internet, resized, copied and pasted into an image file and came up with this . Printed it on an inkjet photo printer, cut it out and glued it to the dash. Came out pretty good if a photo is all you want/need.

I got this one from a toy tractor.  The wheels also were useful.  Rear wheels good for 1/2A main gear; tractor front wheel is now the tail wheel on my FA.  Check out the Dollar stores for cheap toys.

One of our NW Stunt Grunts, Gary Letsinger, drew up some instrument panels and then shrank them down to size. At least, I think that's what he said. I got it wrong before....but they looked very good. Wynn should be able to contact Gary for techniques, then do it himself, between 8am and 4pm... LL~  Or maybe we could hornswoggle Gary into just posting a few instrument panels in jpg format for all of us freeloaders.... H^^ Steve

Wynn,

If you read any of several aviation magazines, you'll find ads for instruments and instrument panel goodies. If you can scan them into your computer, you can stretch or shrink 'em to size, print and cut 'em out for the model almost as quick as it takes me to type that in. If you don't have scanner and color printer, perhaps a buddy does? Same for the magazines...

The ads, review- and tech-articles seldom have the panel you want in the size you need, but nowadays, that's no big deal.

Luck!

Years ago, I found a sheet of blk/wht instrument faces in a couple different sizes.  I took then a enlarges and reduced them in the copier.  Then I took each different size I did (6 different sizes I think) cut them out, taped them to a large sheet of paper and made a couple dozen copies.  These get white clued to a piece of sheet plastic in the size/layout I want.  A black Sharpie will color the panel.  With some work, you can laminate two sheets of plastic with the gauges and a clear piece of plastic for "glass faces".  1/64th ply, stained, makes a good face plate.
