Greetings all,

Glad tidings from the Sig group. In honor of our recently departed hall of famers, Maxy and Scott, we have decided to hold our RC fun fly and control-line contests as previously scheduled. The RC Fly In will be held on June 13 and 14 at Sig field south of Montezuma, IA. The CL contest is scheduled June 27 and 28 at the same field. Mike Gretz will CD the CL part and Bob Nelson will CD the RC event.

In order to get this done in these tight economic times, we are asking for volunteer help to help us prepare the field on the Thursdays and Fridays before these events. We need help mowing, raking, marking, setting up fences, etc. before the events, and also the tear down Sunday afternoon. With the help of the fliers we can continue to host these fun events and provide a venue for reuniting with our flying families.

Watch for more information or contact Bob Nelson or Mike Gretz at sigmfg.com.

Cheers,

Bob Nelson

Robert,
Here's a link to the same announcement on your Event forum--also posted on Tuesday!
http://stunthanger.com/smf/index.php?topic=12152.0

I could have sworn I read this first in your Open Forum on Tuesday, but I don't see it now.

By the way, this is one of the slight disadvantages of having separate topics---often we don't notice posts in the ones that are far down on the page. I do like the separate topics of StuntHangar, but it is easier to miss things if they are posted in a topic I don't automatically look at.

Alan,
FWIW, if you look at the top of the page, left side, there is a spot where it tells you if you have new messages./ Right under that, there is two links, one is for unread posts since the last time you logged in and the other is for posts to threads you have responsded to.
Its the only way I access the forum, typically, each day the two or three times I access the forum,, ( or more, just dont tell the boss please mw~) I only have to sort through a dozen or so new messages instead of looking at all the section headings. VERY slick way to check things out,,,
For years the rat race had me going around in circles, Now I do it for fun!
