The word, "Hangar", specifically relates to a shed or warehouse and became known as a place to store aircraft. The word "Hanger", refers to holding things up. As in coat.
I may be wrong but Stunthangar.com was originally spelt with the AR. I believe there was a system upgrade at some time and somehow it was changed to Stunthanger.com
So, Stunthangar.com is correct. It is just the search engines will always change it to Stunthanger.

Never noticed before either. Seems the correct spelling is hangar referring to the building where airplanes are kept. No, the search engines don't keep changing it, look in your address bar in your browser. The domain is truly
www.stunthanger.com for this forum. Going to
www.stunthanger.com will yield a duplicate webpage of
www.stunthangar.com. Both webpages contain a link button which directs to this Stunt Forum at
www.stunthanger.com/smf/. Hover over this button and a small window will appear and show the destination in the lower left corner.
This is likely a mistake that occurred at some point and rather than waste a good website the other domain was purchased and rather than use a redirect, they put a mirror webpage with a link here. When I was running our shop we bought up many domains and used redirects to route to our home page. The former method is more expensive and that latter method can cause security warnings.
The airport had the city make new street sign for our airport and the people in the sign shop made our entrance Tee Hanger St. That went unnoticed for a fairly long time and it was pointed out to the management. It was eventually fixed to Tee Hangar St.
