With 22 approaches we need a new button. I have been sick and I just don't have it in me to make one. Could someone make a 22 button showing support? Please post it here and we will choose the best one. Thanks
-
Soon as possible. Make the format the same as 21 displayed

Sorry, I couldn't help myself but it will be Two O Tu Tu next year. I will submit a real one later LL~

I dunno Ken, I knida think that one is pretty good.... ~> <=

How about this?
That has merit, if you rotate each number character so that it reads correctly vertically, like this:
2
0
2
2
Type at you later,.

i vote for ken's....seriously....2021 sux azz ( not the supporter icon..) 2022 needs the humor
-
Not as easy, but done.
Looks good, especially after the font size adjustment. Tells what it's all about, MORE HANDLE TIME IN 2022 !!
Type at you later,

I like the handle with 2022. Maybe when things are done I might get a flight in. So far no flights for 2021. D>K
-
Get a handle on 2022! I like it.
-
Handle. Really tells the story.
-
How about this? I think this is the best I can do.
No need to submit a "real" one. That handle is perfect. Only comment, the Yellow on Tan really washes out on my computer. Maybe a border?

22 test

Ken, it has a border and bigger is overkill. IMO I can change it if that's what you guys want and see it.
Change the handle wood to darker mahogany and leave the yellow the way it is.
-
Experimenting. Is this too small? I had to make a whole new image. I made the border bigger, but making the overall size is my issue now. Is this right size?
Shows well on my computer. Just a thought, last year Sparky just used "21". What does it look like with just "22"?

2022 better y1

I have to agree with Ken.
My vote would be “2022”.
The overall design sure fits our obsession.
-
How about this?

Done on a phone.

I thought that we usually to try to avoid deliberate figure “9” manoeuvres.

Try # 2

Try # 2
I'm still liking the Tu Tu but this is definitely a strong contender.

2022 better y1
The old DOC agrees H^^
-
The final design should include "Stunt Hanger" and "2022".
-
?
This is good. Might choose another flier figure or pull his pants up.

Here are a few simple offerings.

I have never noticed this before. Why two spellings? Stunt Hanger and Stunt Hangar, Which is correct?
-
The word, "Hangar", specifically relates to a shed or warehouse and became known as a place to store aircraft. The word "Hanger", refers to holding things up. As in coat.
I may be wrong but Stunthangar.com was originally spelt with the AR. I believe there was a system upgrade at some time and somehow it was changed to Stunthanger.com
So, Stunthangar.com is correct. It is just the search engines will always change it to Stunthanger.

Funny...
Never noticed before either. Seems the correct spelling is hangar referring to the building where airplanes are kept. No, the search engines don't keep changing it, look in your address bar in your browser. The domain is truly www.stunthanger.com for this forum. Going to www.stunthanger.com will yield a duplicate webpage of www.stunthangar.com. Both webpages contain a link button which directs to this Stunt Forum at www.stunthanger.com/smf/. Hover over this button and a small window will appear and show the destination in the lower left corner.
This is likely a mistake that occurred at some point and rather than waste a good website the other domain was purchased and rather than use a redirect, they put a mirror webpage with a link here. When I was running our shop we bought up many domains and used redirects to route to our home page. The former method is more expensive and that latter method can cause security warnings.
The airport had the city make new street sign for our airport and the people in the sign shop made our entrance Tee Hanger St. That went unnoticed for a fairly long time and it was pointed out to the management. It was eventually fixed to Tee Hangar St.

Brent,
Not all that bad.
IMHO, a small improvement would be to have the word "STUNT" at the top and "HANGER" at the bottom.
The outlined airplane could be a solid color placed below the word "STUNT."
2022 under the airplane.
I'd also play with the fonts a bit. Bold on the 2022.
You could eliminate the "field" color outside the circle and consider white instead of yellow.
Simple changes if you're up for this.

After all this, why not keep it simple and change the 21 to 22, or is that too complicated???? H^^

I think Air Master's handle in reply number 35 is the best of the lot.

There is no handle in reply 35. I wonder if the reply numbers change if a post is deleted?
Ken
-
It is there and I don't have you on ignore, so you should see it. I am posting a screen shot for you.
Interesting, on my computer that is reply #36. Maybe that is why I get totally irrelevant comments when I search and there is a reference to the reply number. L am going to try something. Add a BS reply then delete it after it is not the first one and see if there is a gap.
Ken
Test is Done - The site DOES renumber replies if you delete one. SO, all of the post that reference other posts by number in our archive are probably wrong now since someone deleted a whole bunch of replies.

I'm for John's Overhead 8 in reply #30.

Here are a couple of serious ones. The 1st one has already been suggested, I thought a picture would help. Lot of cleanup on both

Really nice! y1
on second thought, the stab is too small, it won't turn. LL~
-
Yes, the KISS method works. D>K

...the stab is too small, it won't turn. LL~
All one needs to do is add some Elevator Wedges or as Bob Hunt likes to call them Drag Plates or Turbulence Inducing Plates, some Vortex Generators and some Trip Strips. It will turn on a dime! LL~

Nice. However. I'd loose the ".com." This will allow the wording, stunt hangar, more room. Also, straight base line on all text. AND, change the color of the text.
Black, Navy blue.

I like Ken's 4 leaf clover design. Since we will have a new entry/description of the clover in 2022 it is most fitting to me.
