I hit the COX mother load!!!
« on: November 07, 2008, 08:57:30 PM »
Seems a local hobby shop here in New Zealand has been unable to sell COX components for the last few years I asked to see what they had and the bought a a shopping cart full to overflowing with original cox parts, most in sealed packages - including a whole raft of plastic COX airplane parts - all new and unused.
So I made them an offer - and lets just say if you have an item you may need - but can't find. please let me know - as I sure dont need it all.

Wynn,

Wow, I don't collect plastic airplanes, but the plastic parts and complete airplanes command pretty good prices on Ebay.

Did you get any engines or engine parts?

Bill

Wynn, I'd be very interested in tank backs if you have them. I'm looking for the die cast backplate with no filler pipes used on the golden bee, blackwidow. In the event you have the plastic ones with no fillers that would suffice as well.  Ken

Do you have any Cox TD parts?

I could use a P&C for a TD .051, and a TD .15 MK-II Special.

Hi Wynn,
Didn't you get my email to you  ??? ?  I'm interested in the Cox Texaco tank and backplate if it is
metal ( as in my email I sent, also Black Widow or Golden Bee tanks ).  Also the Tee Dee black plastic
or red plastic carb body that is on the front of the crankcase that the venturi screws into,
some Killer Bee crankshaft/crankcases, and 5x4 or 5x3 black props.
Thanks  H^^

Wynn - If you come across any Thimble Drome pickup tubes with/without the pickup spring inside, let me know.

I could use 2 standard compression 049 glowheads.
