FAA ha a phone app to "help" you comply with rules about airport near your flying area. it's junk.

Trust me these residential neighborhoods have not been an airport in 15 to 20 years. I have lived in the same area for 25 years and was not aware of them. The airports are not on the sectional charts that I have. Some of the helipads listed are someones backyard, with mature trees all over them.
Problems without solutions. Very poor. The app gives you a warning and no way to comply.
