As all of you must know by now I've recently started flying my new stars & stripes airplane Victory. I've posted many pics of it here. And you probably also know that I hounded Sparky and Randy Powell and everyone else here about building and finishing the plane.
I took it to SIG this weekend with only a handful of flights on it and came out in the top half of expert stunt with the plane and also was awarded 19 appearance points. Neither of these would have happened without all the help, hints and advice I got from you guys.
But that's not all.................................on the first practice flight the plane wouldn't even roll out of the SIG turf for a takeoff. Sparky was there and he helped with trim issues on Friday evening and on Saturday he rebent new gear for me. ( I tried to do it myself but the Sparkster grabbed the wire away and did it himself saying I'd just screw it up).
He even got a pretty serious cut rooting around in his tool box trying to help me.
So guys ...........consider this my testimonial about how great Stunt Hangar really is.
One fellow who has consistently scored higher than me came up after the contest and said, "you beat me Frank". And I teplied, " No I didn't beat you Stunt Hangar did".
Thankyou one and all for being here and for helping me to actually look like I might know what I'm doing.
I love you guys.
LOL = "lots of love"
