I have been asked to start doing advertising banners. Help me keep this site banner free and keep it going by making a donation on the main page. Could be a dollar or as much as you think its worth. I tried the T shirts and they are fun but I just about broke even. So I will try this for a while.

One other thing I have thought about is after I get this paid for the next few years I need a person or persons to be in charge of this board in case something happens. I would like to see this go on for a long time..

I think it would be nice to have a special page or forum just for the advertisers just the same as there are separate forums speed and stunt etc. A fee could be charge for the privilege of advertising. I think all of us could use a site where we could go to get our products and be treated right. Banners don't show any class. But a place where advertisers can post and answer questions would work for me......My Thoughts

Robert:

As much as you would like to keep this site free, I would suggest a small subscription fee. You know yourself there will be parts to replace in time as well as adding more space. I would go for $10.00 per year. Then I would suggest to each of the SIGS that they might think of using this site. Just think an electronic control line magazine for questions and answers. At the NCS banquet I suggested they use another site for their newsletter as that person is trying to do what you are doing about control line. He had his all inclusive forum for the different facets of control line. By the way I like the two site forum for StuntHangar.

The reason for this email message is to see if anyone has an interest in placing an advertising banner on the main page. If you have a banner we can use we will. If you do not have a banner I will create one for you. This banner in turn will be linked to your web site. I am recording an outstanding average of hits per day. This is translated into sales for your company. The Stunt Hangar is not in the business of retail sales so it will not be in competition with your business. I had offered the space for free when the site was founded but have sense seen the need to charge a nominal fee for it. You add depending on the space and complexity could run from $50.00 to $150.00 per year.
The simple banner is $50.00 and the larger one such as a full page would be $150.00 per year. If you do not have a web site Let me know and I can create a page for you. Where you can accept credit cards and any other payment types you may wish.

I wish to take this time to welcome you to the Stunt Hangar community and I hope to help you make control line grow.
