Heat/Humidity
« on: July 29, 2010, 09:55:27 PM »
 >:(So-I'm trying my best to break away from Carrier and learn the stunt pattern. I was doing fairly well during the fall and winter months. That is, engines worked, planes flew and I was attempting  and surviving manuevers I had not tried before.

Now that the summer heat is here along with much drier air I am having all kinds of problems that I had not experienced while flying Carrier and Scale.

The 4/2 break is gone, engines are hard to start, and when I do think I'm accomplishing something an engine will quit or some thing goes wrong.

I have flown these planes during the summer a couple times in Woodland and had mixed rsults, sometimes great runs other times bad settings that don't seem to want to cooperate.

Ia m using OS .35's, 40's and 46's on Sig 5 or 10% fuel. All of these engines are Ton Dixon mods and where running great untill now. Am I missing something here?
