You guys are having way too much fun.  Grandso and I just got back from our circle up north.  I can now sit outside the circle and just refueling/starting.  Got a couple more flights on the P-39.  Will have to tear into it to see why it just keeps getting leaner even after I open the needle.  My have split fuel line.  Anyway the grandson was handling the gujst pretty good.  We had fun as well as Sandy.  DOC Holliday

Frank

These are some hard times in Portland.  You're right, just one plane and we all came to the field in the same car!  Things are so bad four of us go out to the handle at the same time and we change off every eight laps.

Richard,
You guys are going green in a big way. My hat's off to you. I'm going to have to see if we can get something like that going here in Michigan.
We were just not going to fly as often ( times are hard in Detroit too) but seven guys flying 8 laps at a time is pure genious.

They make me go last because I usually find a high spot in the circle.

Actually there must have been 8 guys, there is an empty chair and somebody had to take the picture!

I'll see you guys this weekend- I fly out of New mexico at 6:15 am sat- stop in PHX and should be in portland by noon. I'll come straight to Delta park from the airport- no plane but ready to volunteer / assist in any way you can use me.

looking forward to seeing you - and I'll try to bring some of that FL / AZ sunshine with me!

Maybe we should spend less money on chairs and more on planes of course someone would have to sit on the ground.  Also the combat fliers would have a better time if we had more than one plane.  Bill I'll look forward to meeting you this weekend.
