Halloween theme planes
« on: October 01, 2007, 04:37:16 PM »
Seeing that it is October I was wondering if anyone here would be building a plane (or possibly already have one) with the theme of Halloween in mind?

Lots of possibilities of course and obviously it would not have to be orange although it certainly could.
I may have a plan for a half A flying witch that was published either by AAM under the Tenderfoot series or maybe in the Jr. American Modeler.

I suppose pumpkins as well as other seasonal decorations that also include model airplanes in its design should be allowed. Boy, I am reaching on this one I suppose. However I remember seeing a carved. lit pumpkin with the remnants of a model plane protruding from the side.Makes you wonder who put the pumpkin in the flight circle?!

Post yur pics and don't be skeered!

Robert,

Even though he didn't plan it that way, take a look at John Crocker's twin in the 1/2a forum.  H^^

If it had some evil eyes on it, you've got the Jackolantern!

Not exactly Halloween, but a chance for me to show a picture of an interesting, attractive, and good flying plane. Picture was taken at Tulsa last Saturday.

I knew the model was pretty wierd, but didn't mean to kill the thread!  C'mon, there must be stranger stuff out there!   VD~  BTW, the Mk II took second at the 9th Goyet Meet in Woodland, CA.  It will do the pattern, clean and easy!  Wait till you see the sequal.

The China Clipper by Claus Maikis. This supercedes pumpkins in Germany.
