Guillow's Trixy stunt model
« on: January 12, 2024, 02:27:33 PM »
My first big stunt model was the Trixy by Guillows. I bought this kit in July of 1955. I would like to build one for old times sake. I will buy a kit if available, if not, does anyone have drawings of this model. Thanks.

Is this a 46" swept wing plane? Controllineplans on FB lists it. I just grabbed it to my phone. It is a PDF...

One look at the controls on that drawing and I can finally say I have seen it all.  %^@  That is a lot of effort just to put the control horn on the wrong side.

I have a Trixter Barnstormer (Not the Trixy) kit by Guillows I’ll never build it so I’ll sell it to any one interested.

This was my kit plan when I made these...
I made a small run of them a few years ago
and sold them almost all of them on ebay
Thank you and God Bless

Cool looking plane in plan view but maybe use a different canopy.

maybe you can explain the controls?  Why route them through the fuselage.  Is that an RC cable rod?
