Motorman is correct. The points can rotate 360 deg., so you can set it to run in either direction. A 3-port design, it will run exactly the same in either direction, since the port timing is the same.
I had a GHQ which actually did run, but not very well. The original Loutrel engine was well made and worked in tether cars or boats (too heavy for an airplane). The production was taken over by AHC and they only made 1 or 2 good ones for every 100 they sold. If the parts accidentally fit, then it would run.
