fuse finish...
« on: September 23, 2009, 10:19:47 AM »
Mornin' Guy's, I am tryin' a new to me finish on a profile fuse, I coated the fuse with an epoxy finishing glue.
When I put the first, and only, coat on it I wiped the excess epoxy off with paper towels.
Would ya'll suggest a second coat of epoxy, or start with the dope type finish?
I am gonna use a clear finish to keep the weight down.
  Thanks for the suggestions,

One coat is usually enough to seal the wood which is all you want the epoxy to do. Sand it and start your finish..
