Froom Froom?

Hey guys,

Is anyone still making those longer type spinners?  I’m looking for a source for a 1-3/4” diameter Needle Nose spinner for my new plane.  Plastic?
You know,  those longer types.  I don’t see any “Needle Nose” spinners in the Brodak catalog. 
Any ideas?

Try Randy Smith, He has a better Needle Nose than the original Froom.

How much does something that nice cost?  I don't know if my flying skills, or lack of, warrent such a beautiful piece of machinery.
Can they be painted for our uses?

An "added plus" with Randy's spinners is that you can just get a new "cone" if you want to go to a 3 blade prop.  He has the cones in both cut out types.
On my USA-1 I started off with a 2 blade prop then I needed a 3 blade cone for my 1 3/4 in. NN.  A new cone is a lot less than having to get a whole new spinner!

I need to get it to fit an APC prop.  What is the best way to enlarge the cutouts properly? Any pictures of how to do it would be a big help.

Rough cut with a small Dremel bit then finish with a jeweler's file.  When the first one is done, make a file card template to match them up.  About an even 1/16th clearance is good.  Go slow to assure symmetry.
