There is a post there about a ARF take apart Nobler, here is a photo.

This is not a nobler as stated on SSW. Look at the cord of the wing. Way too breasted!! You heard the truth here first! It looks to be sitting on a G Nobler set of plans. The rudder is a different shape and the canopy is different along with the cowl. So what we have here is a classic knock off. No copy right infringement.

Here is his basic BIO for the plane.

The basic design of this ARF is based on G Nobler. It is named Compass Akro. It will retail around US$200 in Japan. However, it is not finalized yet because I am still adding some goodies to it - such as ball bearing to the bell crank and flap horn.

The production version will be set up for OS-40LA engine. I believe 46LA will fit too. The tank is a 110cc uniflow tank so it should be OK for 46. It also feature adjustable lead out and adjustable tip weight.

This prototype is on it way to Japan now. Mr. Takashi Hara will test fly the prototype. I'll meet him next month in Tokyo to discuss his test results. He plans to use this plane to participate in this year's Nostalgia CL event which he won the 1st place last year with TF's Nobler ARF.

After meeting Mr. Hara, I will travel to China to test fly the 2nd prototype and plan to bring it to Taiwan and let Huang Zhe-xin to continue the flight test. Production will begin around June.

The design is almost finalized but not completely. If you guys have any suggestion, I'd like to listen. However, when flying F2B, personal taste plays a heavy role. I'll try my best to accommodate your opinion but if I do not accept your suggestion, please do not feel offended. After all, I am trying to develop a product to fit the general needs.

So are you saying here that you will be the producer of this model? I mean are you the one that will be importing it as an independant? No connection with Top Flite or Brodak?

I have nothing to do with this model! I wish I did so I could employ some kid a 3 cents an hour to feed his family rice. :o I have just stated the facts.

O.K. that's cleared up.
I hope you take your camera with you and post some pics of the plane here so we can get the scoop first.
