Anything and 3 new members posted after 2:00 was lost. So a few threads and 3 members. Sorry I have just gotten a letter from SMF and it seems there is a problem in their software and not my programing.

Here is some of the letter.

Attention
While we are confident that there are no major problems with this release, we want to remind you that it is still not to be considered stable software. We do not recommend its use in "live" situations and if you are not comfortable with using this Release Candidate, we advise you to wait until the release of the final version before using the 1.1 line.

They may be confident but there was a problem

Stuff happens Robert,

I was in the chat room with Rootbeard and Bigiron and it never skipped a beat.  I did notice that when browsing the forem a bit later that the system indicated I was the only one signed on but the indicator on the left of my messages said I was off line.

In a message last night you mentioned something about putting a new control on the top of the screen to get to the chat room.  Did that have anything to do with it?

As many have said this board is getting better and better.  If we didn't experience a small glitch now and the we would forget how great it is 99.99% of the time.   #^ ~> #^
Tight lines,

The chat room and Map are on a different part of the server. Yes I was trying to install a mod for Chat and paging. But their software is not stable. I will try again in a month or so when they have their act together. Sorry for loosing some of the new posts but most of all sorry for loosing the 3 new members.

Al tho I must be doing something right. Spiders and crawlers. If you go to google search we are moving up the ladder. When this site started we were ranked 50th and now we are ranked 2nd. I am currently working on the spiders to rank us 1st. We are first at MSN and most other engines but I think google is most used. Stuka boasts the most posts per day but we're gaining on them!

Remember you are part of the fastest growing Control line site in the world. With that comes some growing pains. There is WAY BIGGER AND BETTER things on the horizon! Trust me it will rock the control line world!!

There are a few people who think I singled them out for deletion. If you know these people please tell them this was not the case. I just had a case of the dumb a$$

I really don't want to loose anyone as a member. I did have a forum problem that wiped out all the threads after a certain time and I lost 3 new member in the process. I think Joe Just was one of them. So if you know Joe have him get a hold of me at my email address and I will try to resolve the problem.
