I LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the nose of my latest, I have a decal that simply says "BEAT ANTONE"
Antone Kephart is the second biggest smart-ass in stunt and I cant wait for him to see it.

As it turns out, all of the Southern California boys want that decal on the nose of their planes  also.
The next time I show up at a Southern Cal contest I'm passing out "BEAT ANTONE' decals to everyone. Free of charge of course. VD~ VD~ VD~

You can always tell who someone is good friends with... they can bust on them without them getting offended. That is something that doesn't always come across on the forums.

Besides, you know what they say PJ, "There is no such thing as bad publicity except your own obituary." 010!

I don't see what all the fuss was about.

You have'nt won a Nats.
Barely scraped a Top 3 a few years ago.
Were lucky in 96 not facing the best there was..
Placed 4th last year...

The last thing you need was to be hampered further by getting slammed on Appearance points.
There is a big difference between getting 15 and 19 AP.

To put it blunt : You need all the help you can get !!

Perhaps 17 AP and 3rd place in open isnt an un-achievable goal afterall.

Now as for 2013 you simply have given me more fodder to go all Bubba Watson on ya.

Certainly the new touches finish off the look of the model - and adding my name simply gives you more credibility  ;D

Now that I look at it I have further concerns..

The pipe Stinger appears to have little to no visable Ink line work, sort of stands out amongst all the other gray parts that are shaded - If it were mine ;I'd fix that and tick the box titled " Attention to detail "

but thats just me.....

Good question Russell.
It seems that the top five vary from day to day. The day I posted about Antone, he was sitting in the number two spot at that time.
It is my expert opinion that the top five(in no particular order) are......

Eric Rule
Howard Rush
Brett Buck
Antone Kephart
Dave Sabon

The rankings 1-5, seem to change on a daily basis. Which makes it a waste of time to accurately rank them. After all, tomorrows rankings will surely change.

Derek : I dont want to hear you crying on my shoulder because you didn't do this or that in time - Get the dreddy through testing ; realise what you need to realise - make the appropriate changes.

So the .04 worked out well in the long run as far comp results went VS Brett..  one would have thought you would have learnt your lesson this time round - obviously not :-)

Howard : Nice work on the Active electriconic diode pigment altering system checking devices!

the real question is : What else will have power ?

Hmmmm  knowing Howard,  he will invent or design some really cool electronic gizmo that will be in his ship, something like a sensor array that reports any turbulent activity in flight ,and sends it back to the wife's computer ,of the guy who builds Howards plane.      or maybe it will send all sorts of telemetry over to the Jive combat team.
I also hear there maybe piezo speakers on both sides of Howards new ship that can sound like either a 40VF ........... or a 4 engine B-17

Dunno Randy, to come across convincingly, for the latter he'll need at least a pair of 18" woofers.
Still figuring how to diminish the aerodynamic impact -and plain gravity effects- of those on a ship with a 700 watt power train.
Note that I don't do cc s of cub. in. anymore..... ;)
By the way, baffles are a no go here, there's no way around full cabinets.... ;D
