Bill said, 'I'm kinda strange I guess.'

No Bill, you're not strange.  Even my 16 year old son has discovered Wierd Al.

We reckon the record company execs who stop Al using songs are the weird ones.  History has it that it's the record company execs who say no, and the composers over rule—when they can.

Cheers, Geoff

Weird Al is a classic - always comes up with great songs like this - even love the "vidiot from UHF"movie he did back in the 80s......

Weird Al n~ is from Shelton, Washington, as I recall. Shelton is fairly close to Wildwood, about 33 miles. Maybe it's the water?  LL~ Steve

Found it!

"Al is the only child of Nick & Mary Yankovic. He grew up in Lynwood, California (a suburb of Los Angeles), although the hospital he was actually born in was in the neighboring town of Downey."

Wow, is Schlitz beer still around?

Milwaukee Schlitz was my favorite domestic beer in the early sixties! Then they opened the CA brewery, and we could no longer get the WI produced beer where I was stationed in Denver CO. There was no comparison in taste. :(

On my last trip to WI, we stopped for lunch at a restaurant on the way to Burlington, and I ordered a Schlitz. The bartender dug around for almost ten minutes in the back of a cooler, and managed to find one old bottle of Schlitz. Unfortunately, it was well beyond it's prime, and tasted pretty bad.

Now I drink mostly micro brews, but Bud (my home town beer) is still my choice of major domestics.
