Well, given that I won't make it to the Regionals, I made a trip accross the state to spend a couple hours flying with a friend who will be there. I was supposed to be Orin's pit man again, but had to pull the plug. So on the last practice day before the contest, my wife accompanied me on a 320 mile drive (one way) to just be a part of the fun for a couple hours.
Orin flew his T-34 and a got several flights on my Ringmaster. Was a lot of driving for the two hours we spent there, but it was fun. Well, except for the broken windshield from a rock thrown up by a trailer.......
