Flying Models Magazine?
« on: December 05, 2015, 04:33:43 PM »
Does anyone have an update on Flying Models Magazine?  Their web site is just a notice from the new owners but no links or products.

There was a post recently on an older thread that the new owner has booth space secured and some of the winter trade shows, and to look for more news and updates after the first of the year. Or something to that effect.
I'm ready for it to come back also!

I don't get why in these cases people don't at least have the courtesy to update their website with some basic status info. Could only help in the long run, if there's actually going to be one. D>K

I hope all their plans don't go into a "lost donut hole".

ON an other forum the guy who is trying to resurrect FM mag had this to say on 3 Dec 2015

"I guess this is as good a time as any other to let you all know that the Flying Models plan service is on the cusp of being open for business again. I am pushing for this to happen right around the first of the year as the revenue from plan sales is an important part of the rebirth of Flying Models.

If I can ask your indulgence and patience to hang on for just a little longer, I will be able to put that plan in your hands.

Sincerely,

Thayer"

Thanks for that info. How about doing us a favor, go back over to that forum and politely ask them to also add their message(s) over here on Stunthangar?
