Flo-Torque Props
« on: January 11, 2011, 05:18:29 PM »
A friend sent me a few antique Flo-Torque props that are made of mahogany. I was looking at them, and noticed that they resembled APC props in shape, except for the tips being rounded instead of a point. I held up a 13-6 to an APC 13" prop, and they were the same except for the Flo-Torque being a bit wider. I looked back in some of my old Air Trails, and found they were for sale in about 1941. Anybody know anything about them? Were they used much back then? Thought some of you older guys might know something about them. The ones I got have never been used, and are really beautiful. I am going to put them in my engine display cabinet.
