While at Brodaks, I had the chance to get in two flights with the triple and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it performed. On the first flight, the needle on the center engine backed out, shutting it down. The rest of the flight was uneventful but I was able to do enough maneuvers to determine one thing - the plane has potential. After number one engine shut down I flew a couple of laps on one engine and the little .26 Surpass kept the 76 ounce plane in the air without any issues.
On the second flight, all engines stayed online and the plane really came alive. I have to do a bit of work on the fuselage joining area, as the high torque from the long tail moment compressed the wood, compromising the joint. A little redesign with carbon fiber plates an all will be in order.
I welcome comments from anyone who saw it fly.
