Bob, I am pretty sure Walter Umland is in the hosting business, at least in a limited way.
FWIW, when our club's site was first thrust into my hands, it was hosted on a 386 in a member's son's basement. He had over 80 286's or 386's in the basement, all running 24/7, hosting various silly websites. This was all done on phone lines, and I think he had something like 10 lines into his house. You might consider putting your site on a computer of your own, maybe an old one. A website really doesn't take all that much computer space, until you get into forums with archives, photos and movies. Our site is under 14 mb, and there's some stuff on the server that isn't actually functioning on the website. Might be worth considering, anyway.
