Hello all,
2017 is going to be busy year at Buder Park, there is a lot going on including an international event for F2A Speed in Oct of 2017. This past year has been difficult but we have cleaned up the flying field and you would never know that the CL circles were under
16 feet of water at this time last year. The amount mud and debris it left behind was staggering. We also lost club member Jason Pearson but still managed to hold the Turkey Shoot contest somehow.
Here is the major news1) The CL circles are going to be resurfaced
2) Our Annual 2 day contest in Sept the
Broken Arrow will be hitting the 30th Anniversary mark..come help us celebrate that milestone!
3) ICE-O-LATED CL stunt and Speed contest on Feb 26th
4) Speed contest is on May 20-21
5) Our annual Old Time contest will not be held in Oct of 2017 due to manpower concerns and the F2A World Cups happening in Oct
6) We will be hosting an FAI CL Speed contest on Oct 5-8, 2017 at Buder Park that will attract pilots of other Nations, this will be a chance to see some of the best CL Speed pilots flying. you can also meet our USA FAI CL speed team at the contest. These are World Cup contests for F2A, the first being the Spirit of St Louis USA and then the 2017 Speed Cup of Canada held back to back. Four days of CL speed.
7) Turkey Shoot contest will return, probably with modifications to how the event will be run

Come and be a spectator or better yet come and compete at one of the contests! If you have a model with a Fox 35 Stunt it can be flown in Fox 35 Speed!
