My guess is that your email was not 'hacked', but rather that you clicked on a link in an email from somebody you know...and their email addy book was stolen, just as yours has been. Change your password, and don't click on any links, even from somebody you know. If they look at all suspicious, ask first. Often, there is nothing in the subject line, and if there is a message in addition to the link, it will be very short and impersonal.   '' Steve

I wish it was only my email that got whacked!  I came home from Muncie to find my computer "Locked by the FBI".  After going to a fly-by-night repair guy and loosing a bunch of files, pictures, word docs etc. I got my PC back with a way lighter wallet.  Call me Mister Back Up from now one.
Too many people in the World trying to put a hurt on others.  Why can't we all just get along.  Oh, somebody already said that.

change you password
don't use a public computer at the hotel, or library. 
Use a strong password ( numbers letter and symbols). 
Check you other account setting like the backup email address.

Hey something happen to me a few weeks back. Yahoo shut my account off for a day. Not sure how they got my pswd. It was not even a word. Just random letters and numbers.
The only thing I could even think of was a key logger got loaded with some freeware.  HB~>

  My computer was hacked in  Eugene , Or. in May  out of this getto motel I stayed in. No password = no security. Now I change passwords a lot more often.   Good luck  Derrek
