Post by: Steve Helmick on August 05, 2013, 12:42:13 PM: My guess is that your email was not 'hacked', but rather that you clicked on a link in an email from somebody you know...and their email addy book was stolen, just as yours has been. Change your password, and don't click on any links, even from somebody you know. If they look at all suspicious, ask first. Often, there is nothing in the subject line, and if there is a message in addition to the link, it will be very short and impersonal. '' Steve

After going to a fly-by-night repair guy and loosing a bunch of files, pictures, word docs etc. I got my PC back with a way lighter wallet. Call me Mister Back Up from now one.
Too many people in the World trying to put a hurt on others. Why can't we all just get along. Oh, somebody already said that.

don't use a public computer at the hotel, or library.
Use a strong password ( numbers letter and symbols).
Check you other account setting like the backup email address.

The only thing I could even think of was a key logger got loaded with some freeware. HB~>
