Easter Sunday 2011 at Piston Popper Field, Minneapolis
« on: April 24, 2011, 08:08:48 PM »
Today, Easter Sunday, just happened to be about the first nice day in about 6 months around these parts, literally. Time do crawl out of our caves and get outside. About 6 or 7 of us Piston Poppers chose the seasons' first smell of Castor over the aromas of an Easter dinner. We hit the flying field starting around 10AM and it got up close to 60 degrees with light winds all day long. We stuck it out until about 4PM.

 Spring is here! o2oP

Wish you would send some of that flyable weather down south. I'm sick and tired of all the wind and rain!!! Forecast is T-storms for the next three days then one day of sun (bet the wind will howl) then more T-storms.

Glad you guys got out.

Well the rain let off Easter Sunday so the kids could find their Easter candy after morning Church services.  Then it was over to the oldest daughters for dinner.  Then back to the shop to work on planes as evening service was canceled.  I do have three flights in for April.  Looks like the sun may come out today, but it is muddy.
