Thanks, Rich. I don't have to tell you how hard it is to obtain a flying field like this in, what likely is, the most densely populated state in the nation.

It's always nice to see new fields being opened, even if the driving distance from Oregon to your field is a bit too much for attending a weekend contest.

No secret. The site is very secluded and there are multiple locked gates to pass through.  All at the behest of the RC club, farmer and a major pipeline property owner. I'm new to the club and don't want or need someone making a bad decision (like trespassing) which would definitely impact me. I worked on this for years and want cordial and rule abiding people. Yes, I've been impressed upon to vet people and anyone unhappy about that should seek a different venue.

. Received a question from a modeler. Glow flyers welcomed, but they must use an effective muffler. Tube type preferred. Tube and tongue type mufflers must not be modified.
