I have given back the power to delete your own posts. however I don't appreciate some that whine on SSW about it.

I will test by deleting this post.

   Brett

No, it doesn't work, or at least I don't know what button to push. I see an added "edit" icon that I don't recall seeing before, but that just allows me to edit.

Exactly, it's a second edit button. If there's a delete button, I didn't see it.

Its working now. A red X next to modify in the upper right hand corner. So easy even a caveman can do it.

I see nothing like that, look at my screen cap.

   Brett

I tried all the obvious (clearing cache and cookies, logging out and back in), and Firefox, Chrome in addition to Safari, but no go.

It didn't, I cleared the cache, cleared cookies (which logs out), then logged back in.

My screen caps show what I see, is it on there?

That works fine. What is "split topic"

   Brett

Oh you gave me (and maybe everyone) mod capabilities?  I can delete your posts, too...

2 minutes later - back to not working. Probably better that no one can delete posts than allow everyone.

Can I delete a post?

... Nope, I don't think I can.

Using Firefox on Windows XP.

Same thing with IE8 on XP

No delete button here, either. And I HAVE logged out and back in. And cleared the cache. And spoken soothingly to the screen. And yelled a bit. And ....

BTW, I do like the "Modify in place" feature that you have added.

It works now (same as last night). I can now modify other people's posts and delete them, too, so I wouldn't leave it that way!

OK, I think I have enough restraint. I have managed to not wreck the PAMPA website for the last 8 years, and not delete anyone even though it was tempting, so I am probably safe enough.

Does it have an "Are you sure" dialog?
It wouldn't be the first time I click the wrong button or link...
