I may have this in the wrong spot.  If so then please move to the correct spot.

I posted some on facebook but not all of you are on facebook.  I just wanted to let you know dad has been in the hospital for over 2 weeks now.  He was very weak and could not stand.  When they got him there his red blood cell count was low, white blood cell count high, his heart rate will take off now and again and his blood was thick even though he is on blood thinners.  No matter what they do they just can't figure it out.  Now his blood pressure is also low.  His kidneys are not great.  A month ago they were working at 40% and now they are around 25%.  So far no cancer markers has come up.  But no treatments seem to work or last long.  So I thought most of you would like to know if you have not heard already.

With that being said.  When I was at their place on Easter I brought back a lot of stuff from dad's that I am going to be selling.  They are going to be moving most likely to an assisted living place or something.  So they will need to downsize.

Matt, we put him on the FCM prayer chain last week and will continue to hold him and all of you in the family up.  God's best to you.

While I was on the phone with mom tonight the doc called on the other phone.  It is the blood doc and he did not have good news.  They have detected Leukemia.  They are going to give him some medicine but he basically said it probably is a matter of time.  How much is up to God.  The normal treatment that they would use is too hard on the body and dad is just not that strong to be able to take it.  So they have to do the mild version.

Matt:
Please give your dad my best wishes.
STUKA STUNT was a "go to" place when he began it.
I spoke with him on the telephone quite a bit, and it was an honor to meet him in Muncie.
Best to you and the rest of your family, too.

I am not sure when he started SS.  Probably late 90's.

Hey Matt, best wishes to your family and please accept our thanks for all the stuff you guys have done for our event.
I see people my age out there climbing mountains and zip lining and here I am feeling good about myself because I got my leg through my underwear without losing my balance
