I'm planning to use one of my Norvel .049 engines on the Baby Clown, but would also like to try a Tee Dee, and a Medallion some day, to see how well they can be set up. Current Cox used engine prices have put me off a bit, but I've no doubt some will turn up locally.
The Norvel engines were a bargain as you know, so those will be my first engine choice, and perhaps the only engine I use for 1/2A, if they are as good as I've heard.
What line length would you recommend for the Baby Clown/Norvel combination here at sea level? Think I'll start with the 52' .008 stranded lines, and shorten them if necessary. The only other lines available are 35', and I believe you said that was more suited to the reed valve Cox engines.
