Covering material

Does any one remember the brand of covering sold by Clancey Aviation for their Lazy Bee planes? I used some in the past on some free flight planes and really liked it.
It looked exactly like doped tissue an was applied with a paint on adhesive that was heat activated and the covering was heat shrunk. It was much tougher than tissue but not much heavier.

I have one of Black hawk model kit of their Sky Master that I would like to use it on since I can not paint.

I'm not sure just what Clancey used, but this stuff is good, and very light. It looks very much like doped silkspan. You also might consider the SolarFilm Light, on the same page.

It was called Lite Span---as I recall.

They also sold an adhesive--sort of looked like a more liquid white glue. I liked the stuff, have a little left over from my old Lazy Bee.

Thanks guys. Lite Span is it and also the thick looking elmers glue worked very well. I'll have to do a search now and see if anyone still sells it.  Thanks.

Sig still sells a Lite-Flite tissue, light, medium and heavy grades- all lighter than silkspan. Might be what you are looking for.
