Hobby Shops

Well I managed to make to the local hobby shop before the city shut every thing that is not essential down.  Didn't think of it then even though I looked at them, was ball links.  Thought I had a stash.  So I go to every bodies favorite auction site and did a search.  Low and behold I got a package of 8 for less than hobby shop was asking for a smaller package.  Shipping was also free and no gas used in the car.   If hobby shop had been open I would have went there.

I hear ya, Doc... To help with the idle time in 'quarantine', I decided to build some OLD favorites, some stick-and-tissue rubber powered cabin planes.
Would have traveled 40 miles to Modesto Hobby, but as you mentioned, 'Closed for non-essentials'.
A .com search soon revealed Easy Built and 'Volare', for balsa. Also, some Esaki Japanese paper.
John Brodak is still going strong, has much in the way of small parts...

On a somewhat positive note one of our only two remaining lhs’s has gone to curbside delivery of product.

I had some blind nuts and nylon control horns ordered and I was able to easily pay for them by phone on my credit card and they brought them out to me.

This was Great Hobbies in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
