Mark,

Click the flyer at the top. It has the events and times. I should be there Saturday (though there is a question there), but will certainly be there Sunday.

Randy, it has events and the order, I was actually looking to see if they had TIMES, of course thats hard to predict. Does anyone know if they are going to cycle through the classes in order or mix them up?
as in, fly all of beginner, then all of inter, then advanced. It makes a difference.
since you will be there, maybe I will call you Randy,, make sure your cell is charged up ;)

Click the flyer at the top.

Actually, you should click the flyer in the second message.  The first one is a draft with some errors.

We haven't discussed the order of the Sunday events.  I reckon we ought to.  As I remember, we typically do Beginner flight 1, Int. flight 1, Adv. flight 1, Exp. flight 1, Beginner flight 2, Int. flight 2, Adv. flight 2, Exp. flight 2.  To assign times to these, you'd need to include some dead time as a pad to account for the most possible contestants you'd expect.  It's probably better just to run them continuously with breaks when the judges want them.

Actually, most often we run at least Beginner (and maybe Intermediate) until they're done (2 rounds), depending on entry # in each of those events. This helps free up pit space and also allows Jr. Varsity and Varsity fliers to judge without any interruptions to go fly in the other circle.  That would also help Mark with his time constraints. Thanks Steve, as to helping, the best thing if you want me there is to make sure no one goes to the pylon race in Shelton! LOL,,
I will see ya there, or not,, wont know till then.

though some events at home are conspiring to prevent either trip, my AC in the house died, it gets rather toasty without it, and the life companion, Linda, gets a touch cranky when its hot in the house. I have the new equipment, trying to get my boss to schedule the service guy to do the install, if that happens friday,, well who knows.

Anybody intending to arrive Friday to practise? The field is available, but we'll need to set it up and babysit, ya know. If nobody wants to fly Friday, that's ok, too.  ~> Steve

Fun first day. I took some pictures but I'm too tired to resize them tonight. Will post some tomorrow. I know Pete Peterson won Classic and I think the Dirt won profile. I spent the afternoon trying to trim my PA plane in the practice circle. Joy. The party at Mike Haverly's house was awesome.
