Red Max is still going, I believe, as is S&W (Stan Rukuis, or something like that). I guess Powermaster is still going, lots of $$$$ though.  D>K https://web.archive.org/web/20161028192635/http://fhsoils.com/product/fc-fuels/

Thanks for the heads up Mike.  This is the brand I use.  I had a stock of maybe eight gallons.  I ran over to the hobby shop and got another twelve gallons which almost wiped them out.  This should last me and the son in law this and next year.  After that who knows..they said something about Power Master...If they can get it shipped here in gallons.

FHS supply (Red Max Fuels) is 15 minutes from my house.  I got 2 gallons a few days ago, they mixed it (by volume, not weight) while I waited and it was $35/gal. The fuel worked just as good as the SIG Champion fuel I have been using.  I think Byron and Morgan fuels mixed by weight, so less oil and nitro.  I went back a few days later and got 2 gallons of 100% nitro for $60 a gallon.  I will start mixing my own fuel and determined it will cosy about $25/gal.  I found another supplier in NC Charlotte area that sells Methanol for $27 for 5 gallons if you have your own container, otherwise there is a $15 charge to use their containers which of course are reusable.  I also have my first electric plane almost ready to fly just in case my fuel sources run dry!  Tight lines and good engine runs!

$35 per gallon???
I guess it’s been a long time since I bought fuel. Seems like it was 10-12 bucks last I remember.
I have seen the light, and it’s powered by a lipo.

John Otto at Technology Fuels will mix anything you want. His fuel is very good with only the best of ingredients. In the model boat world his fuel has set MANY world records...it was used in the boat that is currently the fastest nitro powered boat in the world. John also flies planes and mixes fuel for a lot of model airplane guys so he is familiar with what we are talking about.

His number is (813) 651-1840.

Hi All, For over 50 years I've been using S&W fuel and have never had any trouble with it! I pick it up at the Lebanon swap meet and bring it back for many of my local flying buddies. We've had no troubles thus far and I am a loyal user.  Stan is a fine gentleman  and an ethical business person. If interested give me a shout and I'll get you has telephone number. His address is close to Allentown, PA.
