BRODAK 15 - IN STOCK!!!!
« on: February 15, 2010, 10:23:00 AM »
I just got off the phone with John. The B-15 is in stock at $79.95

Also, here are some test results.
All testing done with Brodak 10-23 fuel and a Fox plug.
Comment - it was just a bit hard to start due to the top-end pinch. After 5 minutes of running, there was no problem at all.
Hot starting was EXCELLENT.
After I ran it in, I tried a number of Master Airscrew black plastic props, in the order shown.
10-6 ------------8,100 RPM
9-4 -------------11,700 RPM
8-6--------------12,000 RPM
7-6 -------------15,000 RPM
8-4 -------------13,800 RPM

Feel free to contact me with any questions

Bob,

How about putting a 6x5 on one and giving us a rpm report.

m) During the refuelling and the restart of the motor, and until the time when he releases the model aircraft, the mechanic must keep the model aircraft in contact with the ground by at least one point and with the centre line outside the flight circle. During that time the pilot must be crouching or sitting inside the centre circle. He keeps one hand on the ground and his handle and his lines as close to the ground as defined by the F2C panel of judges until the model aircraft starts again.

Or perhaps it would end with a loud report?

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.
