Yes Andre usually. First put in a small amount of acetone to soften everything up-maybe leave it set a day or two. Then you can add lacquer thinner to whatever thickness you wish. I use Kleen Strip thinner from your local box store. Lucky find, especially the glue if it hasn't hardened in the tubes.

Thank you so much Dave for your input.
SO... I don't need to use the Sig dope thinner? I can use acetone followed by lacquer thinner? I have a gallon of "old style" (the real stuff) Kleen Strip lacquer thinner.
I think these are 4 oz bottles, if so, how much acetone should I put in per bottle?
And yes, all the glue tubes are still pliable.
Oh... and I received the SEVEN 4 oz tubes of Sig-ment I found/purchased today! I think I'm okay for a while on glue!
Finding the above helps offset my otherwise frustrating day spent messing with C/L.
Hi Doc!

Well don't feel lonesome. I was trying to move some stuff and found things I forgot I had. Take care of those engines. Also listen to Dave about the dope. I don't use it any more.
Yeah, aging sucks! I didn't remember giving it away... but I didn't find it where it was "supposed" to be... so I figured I must have given it away because it would have been highly unlikely for me to throw that much butyrate dope away.
As for my engines:
I will eventually be going through them one at a time as mood inclines, and attending to their needs and try to resurrect them. If one is too far gone, or parts are non-existent, I will cannibalizing such for usable parts.
Yes, Sensi, I will listen to Master Dave!
All fer now.
