Air Miniseries,

Yer talking about an histerical company there with Boing, but don't forgeddabout Loughead, and such. Not much left of Bell, and even the spinnoff Consodolated is hard to find nowadays. McDoogle, that come from nowhere in the jet age to being one of the best now can't build something whut even looks like a Jointed Fighter--because it merried up with Boing on a Mattel-molded droopy trapazoid. Let's not yammer about the I ron Werks, because mebbe Grueman only got bought because of their legtronics? No fight left in their fighters, and not enough poke in the pot to gamble on another try at airframing. Still can't figure out how Northrap--who virtually bankrupted itself designing a plane that nobody wanted, the F'in-20--ended up holding most of the pie, the pie plate and a box full of apples to keep making more....

We need pitchers of all those pints, so leave the Irish lennons behind and get to the story on the 'lunanum jobs....

Phonetic's .
Kowing about five pronunciations for letter groups , you can prattle this off like a pro , without having a clue what your talking about . Just like school teachers , really .

the last word is ' to you all ' or ' you all ' im reliably informed .
The p.c. when they telephone , go " Kaiora " If you go ' Tenakwae tenakota katoa ' Thered be a deafly silence . as they didnt KNOW maori language  . Greetings and salutations to you all ' Im Told . Kaiora is G'day .
which is God day to you my fine fellow , abrieviated .

For a small backwater NZ has always punched well above it's weight. Interesting stuff Mr Air Ministry. I've swum many times at Mission Bay and caught many a good Snapper near Bean Rock- the lighthouse over the years, looks just the same today. Thanks for the memories.

Hello
Hello

Here you go " Wings over New Zealand" a short WWII video of training airforce personnel early in the war and spoken in the Kings English:

Or for a bit more history of flying boats in NZ (but poor video quality):

It might help our moderator keep space on the server if we post only pictures of Model Airplane Stunters  (see StuntHanger Mission Statement)

It is sad that Sparky is having to add disk space when so many of the heavy graphic posters are not contributors.

Sure, but it would also help tremendously if the folks posting pictures would go to the (slight) trouble to crop, resize and compress picture files to somewhere between 50kb and 100kb.

Also, I would suggest that Air Misery should learn to spell "Boeing". It is pronounced "Bow-ing", not "Boing".
