Banshee and Skyray 35
« on: December 01, 2023, 06:27:24 PM »
Just started a build on a Skyray 35.  Super easy and quick build.  Will be powered by Fox .35.
Also won a Banshee on eBay and waiting for that to show up.  Also will be powered by Fox .35
Everything should be as easy to build as a Skyray.  Thanks Mike Pratt.
Just glad to be here

If you are interested there is a lot of info and posts on Skyray 35 builds and suggested/recommended kit modifications. Specifically look for posts by Brett Buck. I recently completed a Skyray 35 and followed Brett's build modification suggestions. It flies really well as a result.

Hope you put some balsa strips on top of the out board bell crank mount. D>K

Aw c'mon, everybody loved that stuff! (?)  I still have a partial tube in my stash that I squirt a little out every now and then for the nostalgia smell of it.

Skyray progress..

What diameter is that tubing through the bellcrank? Is that copper? I love that install. Very clean.

1/16th copper tubing.  I have a pdf file showing how it is done.  Need your email address if you want me to send it.
